The Lost Photographs of Newcastle (Neil Storey and Fiona Kay) | Talks on Tyne

Discover 'lost Newcastle' through newly discovered photographic plates dating from the 1880s to the 1950s. Neil Storey and Fiona Kay will discuss how they reveal a fascinating insight into the people, streets, places and events of the city in the past.

This event is part of Talks on Tyne: a collaboration between Newcastle Castle, Tyne Bridge Publishing and Newcastle Libraries, connecting local authors and historians with their readers. This is the second Talks on Tyne, following a successful inaugural programme in 2016, during which many of the events sold out.

The Black Gate has a lift and is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Refreshments – including tea and coffee – will be available to purchase at this event.
